Rocket

In the pre-dawn hours of a cold fall morning, the barque Ocean Wave, up bound from Detroit, collided with the 143 foot, two masted schooner, Rocket. The collision was so brutal that the starboard side of the down bound Rocket, only three years old, was crushed by the impact and sending her to the bottom, making her a museum piece of pre-civil war history.
