The tug G.F. Becker sank in deep water in Lake Huron
under mysterious circumstances on September 9, 1931. She is a perfectly
preserved tug boat that was in service for less than three years prior to
her sinking. Our dive to adventure finds her upright with an eagle as mascot,
and the windows, steering wheel, binnacle and compass intact. Was she
running liquor from Canada to the area known as "Whiskey Bay"? Share the
excitement as we attempt to discover the reason(s) for her loss during
prohibition's rum running time period. |
